Or more tactfully spoken what is all this stock picking worth? Do we really have a 40% net return a year? Is it really that profitable? And does it work out the way we expect it? The official term is Return On Investment or Investment performance. Wikipedia states that it is the ratio between profit and cost of investment at a point in time. We call it the pay back. This is our own money so, as you probably have read, we put it where our mouths are.
